GREENPEACE tries to point out environment problems to the public and responsible parts of the administration and pile on the pressure to make changes possible. Several strategies are forced:

• Campaigns (e. g. prevention of whale hunting, entering oil platforms)
• Protest actions of GREENPEACE members
• Collections of signatures in lists
  
• Founding of teams in cities to take actions there
• Selling eco-friendly products via own mail order company
